He had gotten Dark Souls free with Games for Gold, and wanted to try it. The following Thursday I was telling my story to a friend of mine. Of course, there is one more question - is Dark Souls 2 as good as the first game? :) Looking online, I see sites like kinguin selling Divinity (€18) and Dark Souls 2 (€33) keys for cheapĪre such sites legit? Will face any sanctions from Steam if I buy a key from a third party site? Its still €50 on Steam, I should have got it when it was half price during the sale. So I'm thinking of just jumping to Dark Souls 2 on PC. Dark Souls is definitely better when you're online, but I don't feel like paying for Gold just for it. I haven't used my XBox this year, and my Gold sub has lapsed. But I got distracted by some other game, and never got back to it. Last year, I played about 20 hours of Dark Souls 1 on XBox, really enjoyed it. All of a sudden, I have a mad taste to play an RPG type game.
